Our H.O.P.E. Navigation Center is ready for us to move in and begin our new programs at Family Promise Mat-Su! We are SO excited to bring child care for non-traditional hours, computer stations for job readiness, housing searches, and applications, and Disaster Relief housing for families displaced by flood, fires or earthquakes. We will also provide weekly soup dinners for our homeless population, meeting space for board meetings and small group gatherings, and continue our outreach with rent and utility assistance. Our tech crew is working on installing internet and new phone system this week. And, we will be moving furniture and equipment THIS SATURDAY! Hope to have a Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting ceremony early next year in celebration of our 20 years of serving the Mat-Su Valley! More details to come!
Funny for all time.... Staff member answers door and hears the guy say he has a subpoena for Ginger. She comes to my office and lets me know. I jump up and welcome the guy who says his name is Paul Supina to hand deliver a grant application from Bishop's Attic!!!
